A few quick updates as we get more familiar with SwimTopia...

• Saturday A-Meets will be hidden from the schedule from Tuesday at noon until 6:00pm Thursday at the latest. The short explanation is that if we keep the meet visible, everyone will see draft meet entries as Paul and Kelli make changes. Given the large number of changes that are typically made during the drafting process, we want to avoid confusion or disappointment if, for example, an athlete is temporarily added to a meet or event and later removed.
• Job sign-ups that require prior training or certification will be visible only to those who have been trained. For example, all volunteers can sign up to be a table worker for a B-Meet, but only those who have received approval by the Head Table Worker will be eligible to sign up to be a table worker for an A-Meet. Same goes for NVSL officials and several other jobs. Note that, when selecting jobs, you can click on the Name or any other column to sort.  
• Starting this week, job sign-ups will close automatically at 3:00pm the day of the meet (evening meets) or the day before the meet (Saturday meets). This will give us time to adjust assignments to fill critical jobs or cancel jobs that are contingent on volunteer sign-up.
• The list of job sign-ups by shift/name will be made available prior to the meet so everyone will know who is scheduled to do what.
• Please, please, please enter and double-check your meet availability for the remainder of the season now.
