Mount Vernon Park Swim Team welcomes registration of swimmers who are (1) at least 5 years old as of September 14, 2026 and (2) registered athletes of the 2026 summer swim team.

Registration is offered on a first-come first-served basis in one or more "rounds" until the program is full: round 1 (through Sunday 8/17/26) will be offered to returning swimmers from the 2026 summer season, round 2 (8/18/26 through 8/24/26) will be offered to new swimmers who are members of MVPA, and round 3 (8/25/26 until filled) will be offered to new swimmers who are on the waitlist for MVPA.

Mike Anderson and Kelli Makin will serve as winter swim head coaches, assisted by Gator teen coaches 14 and older. The cost is $300 per swimmer and swimmers new to the team (registration rounds 2 and 3) will need to complete an assessment on the second Sunday of the program (i.e., 9/20/26) at 7:00pm at GW Rec Center. Swimmers new to the team should not attend the first session on 9/13/26.
